SORT OPTIONS

This will allow you to choose the order that your results are returned:

Relevancy - How relevant the document is to your search terms
Hit Count - # of times your query is matched in the document
Date Ascending - The date the document was created, oldest first
Date Descending - The date the document was created, newest first

ADDITIONAL FIELDS

Here you can choose to display additional information for each item on the search results page.
Click the checkbox next to the items you want to display:

Relevancy Score
Hit Count
Date of content

PROXIMITY FILTER

If you are looking for multiple words in your query, you can choose to add a proximity filter. In essence,
you can tell the query how close the words need to be to each other. For example, a search for php code will return
different results if searched without a proximity condition, than with a proximity of 2 words.

Search words must be within: of each other.

SITE SELECTION

You can choose to limit the sites that igrep will search. The sites that have a check in the box will be searched.
Please note that igrep will be quickest searching ALL sites or a single site. Each site you add to your search will slow the query further.

SEARCH TYPE

iGrep supports different searchtypes to help you find your information more effectively. Please select the type of search you would like to execute:

Normal Search This is a normal search, and will execute using the exact search terms you have indicated. This is also the fastest search to execute.

Fuzzy Search The Fuzzy Search is a phonetic search of your search terms. Since this searches a much wider search spectrum, it is a more intensive and time consuming search, but can be useful if you do not know how to spell your search target. Keep in mind, also, that acronyms such as PHP and IEEE have no real 'sound pattern' to them, and will return invalid results.

Stemming Search  The Stemming Search is another useful tool to help find the information you are looking for more effectively.
This search will break your search term down to it's 'base words', and search for all patterns of such. For example, a search for 'cropping' will find matches for 'crop', 'cropped', and 'cropping'. Be aware that just like the fuzzy search, this is a more intensive process and more time consuming than a normal search.

DATE FILTER

Use these options to limit the documents by the date they were created:

None - Return documents for all dates
1 Week - Only return documents created within the last 7 days
1 Month - Only return documents created within the last 30 days
3 Months - Only return documents created within the last 90 days
6 Months - Only return documents created within the last 180 days
